Pool and weight room

One plan for the water and the weight room.

Dryland is planned beside the yards, written like a practice, logged on paper in the weight room and typed back in, and never added to the pool’s numbers.

  1. Plan the phase

Set each group’s weekly yards and zone mix, and its dryland sessions, minutes and jump ceiling, phase by phase.

  2. Print the sheet

A dryland prints one group to a page: the session across the top, then a box a set for each lift being logged.

  3. Type it back

Type each swimmer’s sets as written, with how hard it felt from 1 to 10. Every set is kept.

  4. Read the load

How hard times minutes is each session’s load, read beside the yards and never added to them.

Tests in any unit

A time, a distance, a count or a length, with charts that know when higher is better.

One-metre, three-metre and platform entries and results kept as scores, board by board, and never mixed with times.

Insights

Training, tests and attendance read back by season, group or swimmer, with dryland kept apart from the yards.

Recruiting on SwimDesk Live

Verified college staff can search and follow recruits. A swimmer under 18 stays out of reach until a guardian says yes.

Effort systems per group

Zone 3 can mean one thing to your sprinters and another to your distance group, in the same practice.

Records and standards

Team records by event, and the time standards you read swims against, with the next cut in view.

Staff by role

Assistants get the access their job needs, and head coaches bring in their own staff.

Questions from colleges

Tell us about your program.

Talk to us
Does dryland count toward yards?

No. A dryland has its own minutes, sets and load, read beside the pool’s numbers and never added to them.

Can we add our own exercises?

Yes. Add your own, or make a built-in exercise your team’s own; every line already written with it reads your version.

Who can see recruiting profiles?

Only college staff SwimDesk has verified. Swimmers under 18 stay hidden until a guardian agrees, and families can see every look at their child.
