Every lane. Every pace. One workout.

Workout writing and the pool deck, for masters squads.

Write one workout, split it by lane so each reads its own interval and total, put it up on the wall, and keep records in five-year age groups.

One workout, every lane

Write it once. Every lane reads its own.

Masters swimmers share a pool, not a pace. SwimDesk keeps one workout and gives each lane its own numbers.

  1. Write

Type the workout in the shorthand you already use. Yardage and time add up as you go.

  2. Split by lane

Split any block by group, so lane 1 and lane 6 each get their own interval and their own total.

  3. Put it up

Generate slides from the practice and show the workout on a screen at the end of the pool.

  4. Take roll

Mark who swam from your phone, and see who comes most across the season.

Illustrations of a block split by group, and the same set as a slide for the screen at the end of the pool.

For masters

Less admin, more swimming.

Lanes by pace

Split a block by group, each with its own base pace, so every lane reads its own interval and its own total.

Slides for the wall

Turn the day’s workout into slides big enough to read from the water.

The clock on deck

Run the set from your phone on the landscape clock, send-off by send-off.

Attendance

Mark who swam from the deck, and read attendance back by season, group or swimmer.

Records in fives

Team records kept in five-year age groups from 18–24 up, with the history of each one when it falls.

Your set library

Save the sets you reuse, and bring in workouts from Hy-Tek Workout Manager or Commit Swimming.

No member numbers to chase

The roster never asks a masters swimmer for a USA Swimming number.

Several coaches, one squad

Every coach who writes on deck shares the same practices and library.

Do swimmers need an account?

No. Coaches write and run the workouts; swimmers just swim. Published results and your team page are on SwimDesk Live for anyone to follow.

Can more than one coach write workouts?

Yes. Invite each coach with their own sign-in. They share the squad’s practices and library.

Can we bring our old workouts?

SwimDesk imports Hy-Tek Workout Manager files and Commit Swimming PDF exports as dated practices.

Put every lane on the same page.

A coaching desk for writing, a companion for the pool deck, and your squad’s page on SwimDesk Live.
